| 8-1 Victory Vs Kingston Mind |
| Posted: 16th of November 2009 On the 12th November the football teams from the only two Surrey based Mind affiliated organizations met in the Surrey PMA league. Kingston played a good debut game in their first match of the league but were over run by our more experienced team. At the final whistle Woking Mind was up 8 goals to 1. Unlucky Daz let through Kingstons only goal on penalties. |

| Posted: 10th of November 2009 Fridays match against the Warriors FC was one of the most exciting matches that our team have played, according to Manager Janie Cottle. It was an energetic match, which was too close to call until the end. Minders had a penalty disallowed, which cost them a draw. An excellent match. |

| Posted: 1st of June 2009 The Woking Minders were excited to recieve an Invite to play at the PMA LONDON League finals in May. Playing at the Premier League standard stadium, the Woking Minders played several fantastic games in superb surroundings. Team manager Janie C was close to tears of pride and joy as she said I can’t believe i’m watching my boys Play in such a Prestigious ground. Im so proud of them! Their professional training routine, guided by the ever watchful eyes of Coach Chris S, lead the team into the competition with some fearsome opponents. Midfield Striker Dave M said he would never have believed that just a few months ago I might be able to visit a professional ground…. but to actually be honoured enough to play there was… brilliant, just brilliant! |
| Sal B Awarded PMA SURREY Goalkeeper of the Year |
| Posted: 1st of June 2009 The Woking Minders were hit with a double surprise at the PMA SURREY finals on may 6th at Woking Football Stadium as Sal B was awarded ‘Goalkeeper of the Year’ A well deserved prize for a goalie who plays with skill a professional approach and great humour. Sal has been one of the longest serving members of the Woking Minders team and along with Janie C was one of the original driving forces behind the teams creation and success. Receiving the award from the Mayor of Woking, with senior officials from the PMA, Sal was unusually speechless. “We are very proud of Sal’s contribution to the team and of his award” said team manager Janie C afterwards. |
